Remote working allows us to travel and build a career around the world. With just a laptop and a stable internet connection, the world is your oyster!

With this, where will you go next as a digital nomad? Boracay might be a great option for you!

Boracay was awarded as Asia’s top Island in 2022 by the luxury magazine Conde Nast. No surprise there too. You will definitely marvel at the powdery white sands and its beautiful turquoise waters.

Imagine working amidst all this beautiful scenery. Who wouldn’t get inspired, right?

But wait, you need to find good WiFi for this setup to actually work.

We got you! Here are 8 Cafés in Boracay where you can work remotely.

Mr D La Bettola

Mr. D La Bettola

Operating Hours: 9 AM to 9 PM

If you crave something Italian, Mr. D La Bettola is the perfect place for you.

Eat fresh brick-oven pizza paired up with their pasta while you work. Their coffee is amazing as well.

And you’ll love this place if you’re looking for somewhere relatively quiet for your meetings.

Café Maruja

Café Maruja

Operating Hours: 8 AM to 8 PM

Are you looking for a pop of color in your busy day? Café Maruja is the place to be for your cravings.

It features unique dishes such as the Maruja House Burger with different colored buns and their healthy Buddha Bowls.

In the morning, it feels like a tropical paradise with its wooden interiors and plant decorations. At night, it’s illuminated with psychedelic colors that feel so magical.

It’s both a great place to work in the morning and a really cool hangout at night.

The Sunny Side Café

As they say, it’s always sunny in Boracay! And you can surely feel the warmth at The Sunny Side Café.

The Sunny Side Café offers all-day breakfast, pastries, and their specialty coffee with a beachfront view. The interiors have a minimalist aesthetic with their white and yellow accents.

You can certainly feel the vibe and get some inspiration while working in this Café.

Gratitude Café

They offer great pasta, sandwiches, and coffee selections.

The quaint interior will spark your creativity with its lime-washed concrete, playful pink and blue interiors, and rattan furniture. It’s enough to make you feel gratitude for having an online job that allows you to work from just about anywhere.

The readily available sockets are a great plus as well.

Don’t forget to try out their all-day breakfast while basking in their garden-like interiors with a touch of yellow.

They also have great selections of sweets and pastries you can munch on while working remotely.

Nagisa Boracay Café

Operating Hours: 11:30 AM to 3 PM, 5 PM to 10 PM

Craving for Japanese cuisine? Nagisa Boracay Café is the place-to-be for fresh Japanese food by the beach.

It’s rare to find Cafés with Japanese-themed selections on the island. But Nagisa Café has some of the best, if not the best, on the island.

The interiors are also quite homey inside this nipa hut cottage.

Nonie’s

Nonie’s

Operating Hours: 7 AM to 10 PM

Want to eat something healthy? Nonie’s hits the spot for healthy Filipino fusion cuisine.

Nonie’s only sources their ingredients locally and incorporates flavorful twists into everyday dishes. For one, their Karekare is vegan and they use tempeh as a substitute for meat. Also, their fish and prawn curry is to die for.

While you’re at it, why not sip their homemade kombucha while working in their garden-inspired restaurant?

Station X Hotel

Station X Hotel

Operating Hours: 10 AM to 9 PM

Not all accommodations have poolside facilities in Boracay. But if you really want to work by the pool, you can experience it in the Station X Hotel.

The pool area is open for visitors for a Php699 fee, which includes consumable food, drinks, pool access, towel rental, and free WiFi.

Also, you can stay in areas called “The Turf” and “The Pavilion” where you can set up your remote work station easily.
